Identify the machine and the line
Have the equipment make and model ready and tell us where the hose is fitted. Describe the leak, visible damage or rubbing, and mention any function that no longer works. Those details help us discuss the line in its actual setup.
Explain how the problem appeared
Tell us what happened during normal use and whether the line was recently replaced or rerouted. Do not operate faulty equipment just to demonstrate the symptom.
Call before removing components
Follow the manufacturer’s shutdown and servicing procedures. Hydraulic systems can retain pressure. Qualified personnel should determine how the line can be safely removed or serviced. Contact the shop before bringing in a loose hose or arranging a machine visit.
